Youth Leadership Training

The Youth Leadership Training Outing, put on by Mr. Luke Barthel, was an overnight event designed to help scouts brush up on, and learn new, leadership techniques to help better prepare them for their futures. On this outing scouts listened and participated in 3 tiers of leadership training intertwined with various games, including kick ball. For an evening cool-down, the troop went to a local beach where they went swimming, played chicken, and even got to enjoy a spectacular water skiing show, followed by fireworks.

A lot of knowledge was gained from the Youth Leadership Training, and scouts learned that if they put their minds to it, they could do just about anything together as a team...except hold onto balloons.
